Aligners

Discreet and gradual, clear aligners effectively improve teeth position for adults and teenagers who are conscious about the visibility of traditional braces.

Fast Front Teeth Alignment

This discreet orthodontic technique utilizes a set of personalized aligners designed to gently shift misaligned or crowded teeth into a more desirable alignment. By offering a less noticeable approach to teeth straightening, it is particularly well-suited for individuals, whether adults or teenagers, who may feel self-conscious about wearing highly visible braces.

One of the key advantages of these innovative aligners is their removability, allowing you to maintain your regular oral hygiene routine without any hindrance. You can brush and floss your teeth as usual, enjoy your favourite foods without restrictions, and even remove the aligners for special events or occasions, providing you with flexibility and convenience throughout your orthodontic journey.

What does treatment involve?

Using our scanning technology, we first take scans of your teeth to collect precise measurements for your custom aligners. We use special 3D technology to create a personalised plan, which shows how your teeth will move and also how they will look after treatment.

When the aligners are ready, you will wear a different one every two weeks until the carefully controlled force shifts your teeth to a better position. You may feel minor discomfort when a new aligner is fitted but this is usually just a feeling of pressure and a good indicator that the treatment is working.

Treatment times will vary depending on your individual issue, but most cases are completed in 6-12 months. As the aligners only work while you are actually wearing them, we recommend they are kept in place for 22–24 hours per day.

How soon can I be treated?

Our waiting times for an NHS examination and treatment appointments, for new and historic patients, vary. Our reception team will happily update you on current waiting times.

The NHS contract funds a set amount of dental activity for the year and we are obliged to deliver this evenly over the twelve months.

The level of NHS funding provided  is not high enough to enable us to meet the demand for NHS care that exists.

These factors lead to long waiting times to access NHS care.

Private care can be provided at all times with a minimal wait.

Your dentist will be happy to go through all available options including that of accessing some treatment options on a private basis alongside an NHS course of treatment.

Can I meet my dentist before the treatment?

Absolutely! Your clinician wil introduce themselves when you meet at your first visit. Building a strong patient-dentist relationship is important to us. Your initial examination visit enables us to understand your needs and address any concerns. We ensure open communication, so you can freely discuss any worries before proceeding with treatment. Your comfort and peace of mind are our top priorities.

Is Dental Implant surgery painful?

Dental Implant surgery is typically performed under local anaesthesia, ensuring that the area being treated is completely numb. Patients may experience minor discomfort during the recovery period, which can be managed with paracetamol and ibuprofen analgesic medication in the majority of cases, along with good post-operative care. All of our implant patients are provided with the contact details of the treating dentist and implant co-ordinator, providing advice and care if needed, outside normal working hours.

How long will the treatment last?

This will vary from individual to individual. It very much depends on factors such as a person’s age and lifestyle, the structure of the skin, and the degree of correction required. Most clients choose to have a repeat treatment within a year, since the main component of both products (hyaluronic acid) is a natural substance which dissolves over time.

What will happen during the treatment?

At a free initial no-obligation consultation, we will undertake a thorough facial analysis and detailed discussion before proposing an appropriate treatment plan. If you decide to proceed, you will be booked back for a treatment appointment where the actual procedure takes just 15-20 minutes and involves a small number of injections of Botox® solution directly into the muscle groups that cause wrinkling.

What are the benefits of Dental Implants?

Dental Implants offer numerous advantages, including improved speech, enhanced chewing ability, preservation of facial structure, and a natural-looking smile. They can also help secure full or partial dentures, providing a more comfortable and secure tooth replacement solution.

What is a CBCT Scan?

Dental cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a special type of x-ray equipment used when regular dental or facial x-rays are not sufficient. Your dentist may use this technology to produce three dimensional (3-D) images of your teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways and bone in a single scan
