We are delighted to accept referrals from colleagues for Implant, Endodontic, Orthodontic, Periodontal, Laser and Cosmetic treatments. Our cosmetic dentistry consultations are free of charge simplifying the referral pathway.

Implant Referrals

Our implant team are happy to undertake all aspects of Implant Dentistry, including complex case assessments, implant placement, bone grafting, sinus lift/augmentation, as well as trouble shooting and disease treatments.

We can assist you with part of your treatment plan, or should you prefer,  carry out all necessary treatment. We will provide the highest standard of care for your patient keeping you updated and involved in the treatment process if you wish.

We also provide a mentoring service where you can plan and carry out part or all of your patients’ treatment at our practices.

CBCT Scan Referrals

Dental CBCT scans are a great asset in planning of complex dental procedures with incredible precision and accuracy. Refer a patient to us for a CBCT (currently £125).

If you would like a report to be completed by a consultant radiologist on your scan there is a fee of £95. This service is available at our Llanthewy Road, and Rhyd – Y – Penau Road practices.

With our Morita scanner at Llanthewy Road, we can take detailed small field CBCTs, and also carry out dual scan techniques for edentulous implant planning. Please contact us for more detail.

We can provide your scan with the iDixel Web platform-independent interface/Sidexis software allowing images to be viewed using a conventional web browser from any device, including Mac, iPad or PC, without the need for additional software.
All the tools necessary for managing and reviewing scans are included, and provide options for multiple image processing. The findings, diagnosis, planning and treatment can be explained to the patient in a detailed, accessible, way.
We can also provide the scan in a DICOM format for use in your own software for implant planning.

Endodontic Referrals

Endodontic referrals are handled by Dr Kevin Burford BDS (Cardiff Dental School, 1998), BSc (Hons) PGDip(Endodontics).

Dr. Burford uses  contemporary techniques and microscopy in all our practices. He is happy to carry out all aspects of endodontic care including complex cases, re-treatments and surgical endodontics.

Surgical Referrals

We are happy to accept all types of surgical referrals, including complex wisdom tooth extractions, surgical apicectomies, soft tissues biopsies and all forms of implant referrals.  CBCT scans are taken where appropriate. We will treat your patient and report all outcomes back to you.

Cosmetic Referrals

Our experienced Cosmetic, led by Dr. Joe Broad, are happy to accept referrals for all forms of cosmetic treatment from simple laser single tooth crown crown lengthening to complex full mouth rehabilitation cases.

Periodontal Referrals

We are happy to accept all periodontal referrals for surgical and no-surgical treatments. We also provide an aesthetic crown lengthening  and soft tissue grafting services, as well as Waterlase iPlus laser treatments.

All periodontal referrals will be handled by Dr. Gabriella Leatherdale DMD, MSc (Periodontology)

Our orthodontic team, led by specialist orthodontist Will Fitzpatrick, are happy to accept private orthodontic referrals for both adults and children. We can offer all forms of orthodontic care.

I really think this is the best dental practise in the country. The staff are always reassuring and polite. I’ve been seeing David Cox for 20 years now and I can honestly say he’s never ever caused any pain, his injections are painless as are his fillings. I’ve had 3 extractions again no pain at all. My latest visit was for root canal work, ah ha I thought would this be painful? No didn’t feel a thing. All I can say is dont ever be afraid of seeing anyone at this practise. I cant praise them enough. Thanks Dave and team.

I changed to this practice after speaking to friends who have received treatment here for a number of years. I was seen by Vinny, dentist and implant specialist (2 dental implants wanted). I was impressed by the professionalism of all staff and cleanliness of environment. The technical equipment is really impressive Vinny, is confident, knowledgeable, warm, friendly and reassuring.

He takes time to explain everything, provide solutions and undertake surgery painlessly. His dental nurses are also very good. I am delighted with the implants which fit and are colour matched perfectly. I actually attended the dental technician’s lab to ensure a perfect match. Thanks to all the practice staff, including the hygienist who treated me before treatment began.
