Root Canal
Trauma and tooth decay can eventually damage the tooths pulpal tissues, (commonly referred to as the "nerve"). This can cause severe pain, but in many cases it may be assymptmatic. The pulp may necrose (die), and an abscess may well form. Treatment is needed for your generall health as well as the health of the tooth. Successful endodontic/root canal treatment can prolonge the life of your tooth, curtailing the infection along with the symptoms. Our skilled dentists remove infected pulp, clean the root canal, and seal it, helping to restore the health of your smile. Using contemporary techniques, often with the assistance of a microscope, Kevin Burford undertakes routine and complex endodontic treatments at our Cyncoed and Llanthewy Road premises.
Oral Surgery
Oral surgery involves our dentists diagnosing and treating oral conditions that require surgical intervention of the hard and soft tissues within the oral cavity. We provide a wisdom tooth removal service for those wanting to avoi a hospital referral, numerous soft tissue surgeries (often with a laser), including poly removal, frenectomies and small biopsy pocedures.
