Composite Bonding

Discoloured, misshapen or crooked teeth can often be improved with the modern technique of composite bonding.

What does the treatment involve?

At Cox and Hitchcock, we take pride in offering composite bonding as a non-invasive and cost-effective solution to enhance your smile. With composite bonding, you can achieve remarkable results in a single visit, without the need for local anaesthesia. This means that you can enjoy the benefits of a transformed smile without any discomfort or prolonged treatment process.

Our experienced dental team utilises the latest techniques and modern materials to ensure superb results with composite bonding. Through careful application of composite resin to your teeth, we can effectively address various cosmetic concerns, such as tooth discoloration, chipped or misshapen teeth, and minor gaps or overlaps. The composite resin is carefully matched to the shade of your natural teeth, creating a seamless blend and a beautiful, natural-looking result.

Convenience and Time Efficient

Composite bonding offers a convenient solution for improving your smile. Unlike traditional veneers or other cosmetic treatments, composite bonding can often be completed in a single visit to the dental clinic. This eliminates the need for multiple appointments and allows you to achieve a transformed smile in a shorter time frame. The procedure is efficient and minimizes the waiting period, enabling you to address cosmetic concerns such as chipped, stained, or misshapen teeth with ease.

Preservation of Natural Tooth Structure

Composite bonding is a non-invasive dental treatment that aims to preserve the natural structure of your teeth. With minimal tooth preparation required, it eliminates the need for extensive tooth reshaping or removal. This conservative approach ensures that your healthy tooth enamel remains intact, promoting long-term oral health. Additionally, since composite bonding often does not require anaesthesia, it offers a more comfortable experience for patients who prefer to avoid dental injections.

Skilled dental professionals utilize modern techniques and high-quality composite resin to create natural-looking restorations that blend seamlessly with your existing teeth. Frequently Asked Questions About Composite Bonding

We recommend that you always consult with one of our consultants before starting any treatment.

How soon can I be treated?

Our waiting times for an NHS examination and treatment appointments, for new and historic patients, vary. Our reception team will happily update you on current waiting times.

The NHS contract funds a set amount of dental activity for the year and we are obliged to deliver this evenly over the twelve months.

The level of NHS funding provided  is not high enough to enable us to meet the demand for NHS care that exists.

These factors lead to long waiting times to access NHS care.

Private care can be provided at all times with a minimal wait.

Your dentist will be happy to go through all available options including that of accessing some treatment options on a private basis alongside an NHS course of treatment.

How much will it cost?

All treatment plans will be discussed with you at the examination appointment, along with associated costs.

Complex treatments, may need multiple visits to complete the investigations needed prior to providing an estimate. This will be printed at reception, or if preferred emailed to you.
